The Brief / Problem Statememt
Many Nigerians abroad find it difficult to send money conveniently to their friends and families back in their country.
This is where the SWAP app comes in. Swap is designed with the latest technology flexibility (available in IOS and Android) to help users send money from the comfort of their zone, irrespective of location or place.
Swap envisioned a few key areas for their initial product offering as proof of concept. The critical key features included:
Exchange Of Foreign Currencies
Exchange currency in the available deals in the marketplace or use the swap feature to convert to another currency.

Multiple Wallet Account
Create multiple wallet to help manage each of your available currencies

Send Money
Make your loved ones happy by sending money to them through either their bank account details or contact info.

APPROACH
Any good approach in building a usable products requires to build “what’s designed” and “how the end user will experience the product”.
The product centers around the user need to help achieve their goals, design process and strategies from rough sketches, information architecture to hi-fi design, development, testing and launch.
PRODUCT BREAKDOWN
The swap product is available on both IOS and Android. The Web platform includes the Web application, the Web Admin (Internal tool) etc.
The application is open currently to all interested users in Lagos, Nigeria, UK, Canada and currently working on expanding its technology to more states and countries.

Malcom Ode is a software developer. He lives in Oklahoma, Canada. He's single and earns a revenue of $125,000 every year. He works as a content creator as a side hustle.
GOALS & NEEDS
As a workaholic and caring person, Malcom is looking out for an application to help exchange currencies and transfer in local funds instantly to his family back home.
DEMOGRAPHY
Age : 27
Occupation: Software Develoer
Status: Single
PAIN POINTS
Available platforms charges is extremely high and takes 2 - 4 business days to completion.

Foodie, easy going and manages his time efficiently.

CHALLENGES & CONCLUSION
During the course of implementation and testing, we experienced various challenges such as compliance issues, third party provider issue for wallet provision, app stability, technical loop holes e.t.c
Due to some of this constraints, we had to revisit the design and suspend the flow for wallet creation till after launch.

Product is currently undergoing internal user testing and has not been launched to the public yet.
